In what format can we upload product data from a wholesaler or manufacturer?

The upload can be from files in csv, xml or excel format, but if the wholesaler provides us with a feed or API, we can also use it.

In the case of Feed, the update of the data is determined by the wholesaler's system, while in the case of API, the receiving party, in our case yappp.com, determines how often it downloads the wholesale data.

When do we use the existing data content of the webshops directly to produce the product feeds?

In the event that there is no other source and the quality of the product data in the webshop is adequate.

It may happen (this is the case in most cases) that the structure of the product data of the webshop must first be fixed before creating the product feeds, because we are faced with such problems/deficiencies that do not allow the design of the individual feeds to meet the mandatory requirements of the given feed.

What webshop platforms can we handle?

We support the most common domestic platforms, such as UNAS or Shoprenter, but also international/global platforms such as Shopify, Magento, Amazon, Ebay, Woocommerce, Glami, etc.

We can connect to practically any webshop, as long as it has public API-based access.

It happens that you are in contact with several wholesalers/suppliers and they transfer the data in different data structures. Let's imagine that 3 companies with similar product offerings use the same feed on the given webshop platform. Compared to Google/Facebook, they won't differ in anything, except for the price. In this case, you can compete not only in price, but also in appearance.

Where do we use artificial intelligence?

A typical application is the classification of products into the appropriate category, if the wholesale database is not suitable for this. But we can use it to recognize parameters based on their values, or to separate merged parameters. We also get practical results when compiling product names, how the product should be named in the webshop, in the Merchant Center feed or in Glami. Should it include the brand name or not? At the beginning or at the end?

The use of artificial intelligence is effective when a sufficient amount of data is available.
