In what format can we upload product data from a wholesaler or manufacturer?

The upload can be from files in csv, xml or excel format, but if the wholesaler provides us with a feed or API, we can also use it.

In the case of Feed, the update of the data is determined by the wholesaler's system, while in the case of API, the receiving party, in our case yappp.com, determines how often it downloads the wholesale data.

When do we use the existing data content of the webshops directly to produce the product feeds?

In the event that there is no other source and the quality of the product data in the webshop is adequate.

It may happen (this is the case in most cases) that the structure of the product data of the webshop must first be fixed before creating the product feeds, because we are faced with such problems/deficiencies that do not allow the design of the individual feeds to meet the mandatory requirements of the given feed.

What webshop platforms can we handle?

We support the most common domestic platforms, such as UNAS or Shoprenter, but also international/global platforms such as Shopify, Magento, Amazon, Ebay, Woocommerce, Glami, etc.

We can connect to practically any webshop, as long as it has public API-based access.

Melyek azok a tipikus problémák, amelyekkel a webshop tulajdonos a webshopjának feltöltésekor szembesül?

It happens that you are in contact with several wholesalers/suppliers and they transfer the data in different data structures. A typical problem is that similar products are categorized differently, or the structure of the product name is different, or a different type of product id is used. In such cases, it is necessary to consolidate the product data, which yappp.com calls the Performs in Master Catalog.

Why do you need product feeds?

In short: so that the products/services sold in your webshop reach the target audience as efficiently as possible, and you can use the necessary channels for this.

Longer: online advertising platforms have created automated solutions for product advertisements in addition to traditional textual advertising, which have created standard channels for "supplying" them with product data. Examples include Google Shopping Ads campaigns, for which product data must be uploaded to the Google Merchant Center.

Price comparison sites (e.g. Product Finder, Árgép) and global marketplaces (Amazon, Ebay, etc.) operate according to similar principles.

With yappp.com, you can not only create effective product advertising campaigns in Google Ads or Facebook, but you can also extend sales links to price comparison sites and global marketplaces.

What is the difference compared to feeds offered by webshops?

These basic feeds are highly simplified. Typically, they cannot handle data that is important from an advertising point of view, such as the energy class for a refrigerator, or the pattern of a garment for a dress.

Let's imagine that 3 companies with similar product offerings use the same feed on the given webshop platform. Compared to Google/Facebook, they won't differ in anything, except for the price. However, if we add these parameters to the feed, the feed becomes better quality, and thus our ads too. Thus, our ads have a chance to appear even in cases where those of other companies do not. In this case, you can compete not only in price, but also in appearance.

Where do we use artificial intelligence?

A typical application is the classification of products into the appropriate category, if the wholesale database is not suitable for this. But we can use it to recognize parameters based on their values, or to separate merged parameters. We also get practical results when compiling product names, how the product should be named in the webshop, in the Merchant Center feed or in Glami. Should it include the brand name or not? At the beginning or at the end?

The use of artificial intelligence is effective when a sufficient amount of data is available.

Is it possible to use consultation?

In addition to the tools of the yappp.com software, it is also possible to use an advisory/consultation service.

We have more than 10 years of experience in the field of online advertising and digital marketing, our company manager is a gold-level Google Ads product expert and a regular participant in Google's global product conferences.
